iKazoku 家族

Right now we are in the process of upgrading the site to include “Buddy Press” (a social network plugin) into ikazoku. In additional, we have revised our plugin managements to make it more compatible. In this post, I will address two significant adjustments you might encounter due to the upgrade: first, “Navigation Bar” and second, sidebar widgets.

The navigation bar at ikazoku is changed to increase the compatibility issues with the newly added plugin (Buddy Press).

My Account tab now includes shortcut to the social network site. The original shortcut to Blog Reader under this menu has been removed. You may access the Blog Reader through the back-end and it’s located under the “Dashboard” menu. Here is the screen shot.

My Blogs tab lists the shortcuts to access your blog both the front-end (blog) and back-end (admin panel). Here is a screen shots.

To access your blog simply click on your blog name (i.e. click the iKazoku 家族). To access the admin panel, you will need to visit one level down by mouse over the desired blog, and click on the Dashboard tab.

Sidebar widgets: You sidebar widgets might have been effected. Please re-enable them. Sorry for any inconvenience.
